Green Cola, Great Swings & Giving Back: Green Drinks Co on the Fairway with Natal Nomads
At Green Drinks Co, we believe that real impact happens when good people, good choices, and good causes meet, sometimes even on a golf course.
Recently, we had the privilege of supporting a Natal Nomads Gold Day at the beautiful Kloof Country Club. Every player received a Green Cola on the day, and the winner of the straightest drive on the par-5, 7th hole walked away with a Green Cola variety case, a small reward for a well-struck shot, and a healthy alternative to the usual clubhouse fare.
But this day was about far more than perfect swings and friendly competition.
Golf with Purpose
The Natal Nomads are well known for their commitment to promoting golf as a sport, but more importantly, for their unwavering dedication to giving back. Through fundraising initiatives like this golf day, and under the banner of the Andrew Mentis Nomads Foundation, the Natal Nomads continue to channel funds into meaningful community upliftment.
This particular event successfully raised R300 000, which will go toward supporting two projects under the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund. These initiatives focus on providing care, stability, and support to orphaned children and vulnerable youth in local communities, the kind of impact that creates real, long-term change.
Why Green Drinks Co Got Involved
For us, partnering with events like this is a natural fit.
Green Drinks Co exists to offer better choices, drinks that taste great, align with healthier lifestyles, and don’t ask people to sacrifice enjoyment for wellbeing. Supporting a golf day rooted in community, generosity, and integrity felt like a perfect alignment of values.
This wasn’t just about refreshments on the fairway. It was about showing up, supporting meaningful work, and standing alongside organisations that use their platforms to uplift others.

More Than a Game
There’s something powerful about a day where camaraderie, sport, and purpose intersect. Conversations flow easily. People connect. And when everyone leaves knowing that their participation contributed to something bigger than themselves, the experience carries weight beyond the final hole.
We’re proud to have been part of a day that reflects what we stand for, conscious choices, community involvement, and doing good wherever we can.
Here’s to more partnerships like this. More green on the fairways. And more positive impact off them too.
